Home Schooling
CFA Yokosuka has an active home school community. Many families choose to home-school. and do so on their own but are base home school groups There is an active homeschooling community on base with weekly meetings, social media, and activities. Three home school co-op groups here are:

KANTO PLAIN HOME SCHOOL
Kanto Plain Home School group is a large, active base group of home school families. It is open to all philosophies. The group provides weekly meetings, opportunities for networking, sharing curriculum and best practices, info on home school resources and tools, as well as group classes and activities for students, parents, and families.

Classical Conversations is an active, faith-based group that follows a specifically established philosophy of education built on mentoring and parental engagement in their child’s daily education. - Special Education, English as Second Language, Gifted &Talented services
- Standardized testing
- School bus transportation
- Extracurricular activities
- Interscholastic activities
